Track & Field

 

Looking to try out or refine your track and/or field skills.  come out to our bi-monthly track & field practices.  USA Track & Field trained coach and US Paralympian Asya will be holkding practices from April - July!  Contact Trisha, trisha@oregondisabilitysports.net or 503-241-0850 for more information or to sign up!

Introductory Adaptive Kayaking 

Kayaker Chip Sell is back at it, introducing and instructing beginner kayakers.  Let us help you get comfortable on the water on a kayak!  Contact Trisha, trisha@oregondisabilitysports.net, 503-241-0850 to sign up!  Only 4 spots available.

 

 

Keep On Moving!

The 1st Wednesday of every month.
Open gym to anyone interested in wheelchair basketball, rugby, tennis or handcycling. Come check out the equipment and meet the athletes who are participating now.
These are open and free to anyone in the who has a physical disability, or anyone who just wants to know what adaptive sports are all about!

 Keep On Moving! is a program of Oregon Disability Sports to provide an opportunity for people with physical disabilities to experience wheelchair sports and recreation and to promote continued involvement in physical activity, thus improving quality of life.

16 teams from all of the country will be here to compete!

 

West Coast Conference Championships

Reynolds Middle School, Fairview, OR

 Junior wheelchair basketball teams will travel to Portland to compete for a chance to go to Nationals!

We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.  We have our monthly Keep On Moving! session and our ongoing sports practices.

Due to low registration we have had to postpone our October 23rd Paralypmic Sports Day.  Our plan is to bring paralympic sports to youth and adults this upcoming spring!
